“Capacity Building Workshop on e-Governance”

(3-4 November, 2008 at Zonal Council Hall Kohima)

The main objectives of the workshop are:

· To sensitize on the principles of e-Government

· To disseminate holistic understanding of e-Government and build capacity to address the challenges in conceptualizing and implementing e-Government projects.

· To emphasize the importance of Change Management and leadership

· To understand issues related to Government transformation, by way of Government Process Re-engineering (GPR) and Public-Private-Partnership (PPP)

· To give an understanding of the National e-Governance Plan and the State’s e-Government Road Map (EGRM).

Participants:

Day 1 ( 3^rd Nov’08) - Legislators, Administrative Heads of Departments (AHODs), Members of Commissions, Secretaries, Additional Secretaries, Deputy Commissioners.

Day 2 (4^th Nov’08)- Joint Secretaries, Heads of Departments(HODs), Departmental IT Nodal Officers
