Minister Kuzholuzo On Nrhm Activities |

Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo, while replying to a starred question during the Assembly session this morning, stated that a total amount of Rs. 100.319 crores has been received from the Government of India for the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) as under:
2006-07 - Rs. 15.87 crore
2007-08 - Rs. 29.37 crore
2008-09 - Rs. 55.079 crore
Funds to meet the local requirements were provided by NRHM as follows:
Sub Centres - 397
Primary Health Centres - 86
Big Dispensaries/Subsidiary Health Centre - 42
Community Health Centre - 21
District Hospitals - 11
The following District Hospitals and Sub-Centres/Community Health Centres have also been taken up for upgradation:
District Hospitals - 11
Sub-Centres - 11
Community Health Centres - 05
Primary Health Centres - 05
Staff Quarter - 21
